How it works
Your hymnal is built from your own service plans — everything you've sung, plus everything you've already got scheduled. It starts full on day one and keeps itself current. Your worship team plans exactly the way it already does — there's nothing to tag, and no second song list to maintain.
Sign in with Planning Center. We securely sync your songs, arrangements, keys, attachments and service plans.
Pick how far back to reach — six months to three years. Every song in those plans comes in, and anything already scheduled ahead comes with it. Adjust the list any time.
Members sign in with their Church Center email — no passwords to remember, and your member list stays in sync automatically.

Questions
Yes. Hymnologic reads your existing Planning Center Services library — that's what makes it work without you building a second song catalogue.
Yes. Your service plans are the starting point, not the rule — during setup you review the list and remove anything you don't want, and there's a Songs page for adding or removing arrangements later. Nothing is ever removed automatically just because you haven't sung it in a while.
No, and it isn't trying to. Churches that use Hymnologic keep projecting exactly as they did. It's the hymnal alongside the screen — for the person who wants the words larger, wants to read the next verse ahead, or wants the song again on Tuesday.
Only if you decide they can. Out of the box the hymnal is members-only — members are verified against your Planning Center People directory, and a shared link shows a non-member just the song list, titles and the same YouTube links that are already public, with a prompt to sign in. There's a setting that lets shared links show the lyrics too, for churches that want someone to be able to sing along from a text message. It's off unless you turn it on, and chords and sheet music stay members-only either way. Whichever you choose, it's your church's call and your church's responsibility to have the right to show what you're showing.
That's between your church and CCLI. Hymnologic is the software that displays songs from your Planning Center account — it doesn't license anything to you and has no way to know what you're licensed for. Your church is responsible for holding the right to display what it publishes here, the same as you are for what goes on the screen on Sunday. An admin confirms that during setup, and we keep a record of who confirmed it and when.
Song data — attachments and links — for the songs in your hymnal, and member data (name and email) so we can verify who's allowed to open it.
Not currently. It's a web app built for a phone — members open a link and can add it to their home screen if they want. A native app may come in the future.
Remove them in Planning Center People and they lose access at the next sync. The directory stays the one place you manage people.
